OSL is committed to providing clients with any aspect of career transition support after a thorough existential assessment of yourself and how you wish to live in the world going forward that would be most meaningful. Applying Pryor & Bright's Chaos Theory of Careers, we gather all the best available information about ourselves and our environment to discover that a fair amount of life and career events happen based on chance or outside of our purview. We select a values-driven way of living with the future that rests on a habit of open-systems thinking that moves with the tides and finds security despite the chaos of change and involuntary endings. This is a shorter-term series of sessions that begin with 2X weekly sessions to gather as much information about the situation and yourself that we can learn in order to cast the most relevant net for the future. The next session or two looks at who one wants to be ultimately, and how one wants to live in the world and with others. Then we drop to 1X weekly sessions once you believe you have mastered an existential approach to thinking about and preparing for the next chapter of your career or post-career.
