Service Description

We can start by saying hello and meeting you where you are with no discussions about wishes and goals at all. This is one of the benefits of having therapy outside of the insurance umbrella! Perhaps you do not have a wish to learn about yourself or uncover patterns from the past that manifest in unwanted memories. It might just be grand to have open conversations about whatever concerns you, to simply exist together, notice how things change over time, and notice what becomes more meaningful. Having company can transform thoughts and uncover hidden stuck points. You are enough, just the way you are. We will exclusively work in the moment for as many sessions as you feel is beneficial, whatever is available. If you would like to dig deeper into the past and present with relational attachment and a deeper understanding for the context of circumstances, we may shift to psychodynamic-existential, whereas we may want to develop experiential experiences, or realize that career uncertainty for your grown children was irking you. We will shift what we do, should you be interested in an approach to meeting a goal. Otherwise, we can stay here and be completely centered on you in the here-and-now.
